History & Construction -
GRP Motor Cruiser, 20' long, built 1989. The boat has in the last 5 years had lots of new improvements, including bilge keels fitted, a new oak central keel with keel band. The Inboard Kubota diesel, a Farymann Conversion, three cylinder was reconditioned 5 years ago. Engine is raw water cooled, has a stainless steel 10 gallon tank and a three bladed propellor on single shaft. The shaft was new in 2010, plus a new cutlass bearing (2010). The engine has done only approx. 100 hours since its recondition, plus it has just had a service, with new filters, heater plugs, a new exhaust, and new water pump.
There are two batteries (2010) and a solar panel, plus charging from the alternator. The 12V lighting is traditional bulbs, navigation lights, cockpit and interior lights. The electronics are a Garmin GPS (2011), a Garmin Fishfinder (2010) and a VHF radio.
The cockpit has an excellent full enclosure cover, with windows, which un-zips to the sides and rear, giving access for boarding and fishing. There is also a strong boarding platform attached to the stern. This Colvic 20 is equipped with good cockpit cushions, plus a helmsmans seat in very good order. The woodwork is varnished and looking very smart, some wood around the cockpit has recently been renewed. The Cockpit leads to the cabin, with two berths, plus a sea toilet and a cooker with two burners plus grill. The cabin has two windows each side plus a forehatch.
Not included in the sale but currently onboard are the fishing gear, crockery and tools.
