Built in the UK by Fletcher, the previous owners had stored the boat ashore for 10 years. The current owner bought the vessel in 2009 and proceeded to convert her into a fast Sports Fisher.
Everything about the wheelhouse is newly fitted and the wheelhouse also has a new extension over the cockpit decking. The cockpit is self draining, with 2 stainless steel fuel tanks underneath, both plumbed independently. The topsides are shiny and the colour is bright red.
In the engine room is a new (2010) Volvo D4 225hp diesel engine. This engine has not been run in, hours since new only 35. It is raw water cooled, has four cylinders and acheives a top speed of 34 knots. The Volvo outdrive is new, fitted at the same time as the new engine.
The wheelhouse has good headroom, and is entered by a hinged exterior door, and there is the helmsman's seat and a passenger seat and the entrance to the cabin. There are plenty of storage lockers beneath the console and the seats. There are good electronics by the wheel, and a new Volvo powered steering system.
Forward you will find ample room for a weekend afloat in the cabin, which is newly lined. There are two berths, a sea toilet and storage spaces. There is a small camp cooker and good daylight coming from the
forehatch. A curtain closes off the forecabin and gives privacy.
The vessel has foam buoyancy under the forward bed and floor and under the cockpit floor, rendering the vessel unsinkable.
COMMENTS -
Fitted out to a professional standard, all stongly built with a new sensible layout, this newly improved sports fisher is ready for fun and of course finding fish. All ready to run, and just look at those low engine hours, what a catch that Volvo is. It is a safe boat for children and non-boating partners with the deep cockpit with guard rails, a loo onboard and plenty of shelter from the weather.
