History & Construction - The owner bought this Berry Boat in 2006 and there are thought to be 3 former owners. Built of Iroko on oak in Weymouth, UK. Shallow draft hull and transom stern. Forward wheelhouse with accommodation. Good deck space with raised engine box and raised fuel tank cover. A boarding ladder ramp can be fitted to the starboard side with stainless steel brackets. Owner has other commitments and can no longer spare the time to use her. The engine is not the original, and was fitted by the previous owner. The fuel tank is extra large for using when re-fuelling is not convenient.
The exterior has been repainted in 2011, and the woodwork was found to be in very good condition.

Comments - - - You can use this boat for a variety of purposes. Formerly she has worked at several jobs, including more recently as a mackerel charter boat, collecting passengers from a beach for short trips. She had until earlier this year the current licence for 12 persons and 2 crew mackerel charter. Then the owner obtained the commercial fisheries licence and took her potting. The owner would also help you re-licence as a charter boat. All the safety equipment is current and is on the inventory, apart from a liferaft which you would normally hire.
A stable and shoal draft boat, suitable for beach work and tidal harbours. A multi-purpose vessel that can be used for a variety of work. The boat is ideal for harbour work, towing etc, as she is heavier than the equivalant GRP boat, making her suited for towing and push towing and she is a stable working platform with large deck space for carrying out harbour maintenance tasks. Whether it be inshore charter, commercial fishing, harbour work, dive charters or recreational angling this boat is up to the task.

Ashore near Plymouth, UK.
